Neil Young’s polarizing album, influenced by new wave and heavy on the Vocoder, has long divided fans and critics. But beneath its cold exterior is a record with a lot of heart.

General Comment"Like an Inca" appears to be a rewritten (and watered-down) version of the (apparently) very personal song "Hitchhiker" which he has played live a couple of klepenpomavasbulirestopktendpope.coinfo shares a melody and some of the lyrics, but the original has a much different focus When I was a hitchhiker on the road I had to count on you But you needed me to ease the load And for conversation too Or did .

Twiligh is probably one of Neil's best composition (*not on Freedom) from the 80's. Its really bluesy with a horn section, but has some great guitar work--his best playing in the 80's other than Eldorado EP. If you like any of those songs I mentioned, then you need to check out his live album of This notes for you stuff called, Bluenote cafe.

A profound backstory. Released on 29 December , Trans is often considered to be Neil Young’s synth-pop album, but that’s not really the case. There are, in fact, few keyboards on it, and Author: Brett Milano.
  8. Terg says:
The band also tackled “Like An Inca” (from Young’s album Trans) in the encore slot, laying into the band with tight improv for just its second outing since
  9. Moogugal says:
It features no instrumentation other than piano and Young's voice. It's a song of loss, with Young comforting a lover he's about to leave. At just over two-and-a-half minutes long, it's one of the shortest songs on the album, trailing in that honor only "Till The Morning Comes" and "Cripple Creek Ferry.".
