Apr 09,  · Removing a vinyl top for keeps is one of the hardest things you can do in bodywork because of the rust and glue underneath. It is easier to replace the vinyl top, then you can kill the rust and paint the top with POR15 and cover the whole mess with new vinyl. This is much easier than trying to refinish the roof.

Tip: While Vinyl-Off alone is usually effective in removing signs and decals from car exteriors, if you have difficulty, you can try heating the sprayed surface with a hair dryer held approximately three inches away from your car. This will further loosen the adhesive holding the sign or decal onto your car. Step 5: Remove the sign or graphic.

The great thing about vinyl car decals versus paint, beyond the fact that it comes off without paying a paint shop thousands, is that it comes in so many different varieties. You can get carbon fiber, brushed metallics, matte and even color changing. Variety, the spice of life!

Your car’s paint surface is very sensitive and scratches really easily. For the same reason you wouldn’t use an abrasive scratch pad on your face, you shouldn’t use it on your car. You can very quickly completely ruin your car’s paint. • Don’t use your fingernails to scrape off something on your car. This is the same as above.

But when you listen to this pinnacle of progressive music, especially after living with the dense and somewhat compressed original mix, and even the re-master from a few years back, and you take advantage of the surround sound version, the absolute brilliance of the recording is revealed/5(1).

The sound is suburb, much better than the MP3 version. The record has the familiar Atlantic Records label just like the original. The g vinyl plays flawlessly on my turntable. The gatefold album cover is beautiful. I recommend this for any fans of Yes or classic progressive rock.
